A very rare example of a Grade II* listed house, Six Pillars is widely regarded as one of the finest examples of Modernist architecture in Britain. It was designed in 1932 by Valentine Harding and Tecton (Berthold Lubetkin's architectural practice), and restored in c.2000 under the direction of the renowned architect John Winter.
